Yes I'd like not to do that. Stalk you, but I understand about your gift. In that case, let me know where you want me to leave it and I will avoid the giving part of it. You can pick it up when you're ready.
Everyone should have a gift on Christmas. It would help if I knew where to leave it for you, then I can tell Bakugo when he is done with his for you, too. If it's far away, that's alright. I like walks.
I'm not sure what to get him, but I was certain about you.
Why would you get one? I don't understand. You'd get it because I'd leave it for you. You don't have to celebrate to enjoy something. Or for someone to think of you.
[ what is even happening. what is this guy saying. why would anyone be thinking about him during a holiday? and get him gifts? no one does that and it's confounding!
[Ohhhhh. Wait. He understands absolutely nothing.]
I see. What if instead, I can give you yours, and you can donate other gifts? We can work on a list together. That way more people get gifts and you can get yours too after earning it through community service. You can even help me deliver them.
That's an easy question. To make someone happy. I know my first Christmas was really nice when I got gifts from unexpected sources in my high school. Do you know anyone who could use a gift? And are we going to think of practical, or helpful gifts?
Most of the people I knew have gone home, too. It doesn't have to be people we know, it can be people we don't know, too. That's how you meet new people.
[Says the guy who was too afraid to meet anyone and have them leave again until he spotted this poor guy.]
It is hard, but we met. I can't think of a reason they wouldn't want to meet you. I've enjoyed every time we've talked.
Besides that, sometimes people are just shy. It just takes someone to reach out, figuratively. I don't mean with their actual hand. Though that would be fine in some situations, too.
[That's the spirit. He has such confidence in Sakura to do the right thing and he's not been disappointed so far.]
That's a good question.
[He's not good at this, he just knows it's what he wants to do.]
Hmm... We come up with some generic gifts? Things that are useful maybe? Scarves, hats, jackets maybe? Other trinkets to cover people that don't need those things outwardly? I don't think that food would be a good idea. We're strangers to strangers.
Hm... I meant buy them but now you have me wondering if I could learn in time. Then we could do both. Making it on my own sounds good, too.
[Even now, even though he is not his further self, he still has that drive.]
We could do that, too. We could even just hand out "IOU" slips. A favour someone can ask for later. I like your idea better, then someone doesn't get what they don't want. Could we go with that?
