That's an easy question. To make someone happy. I know my first Christmas was really nice when I got gifts from unexpected sources in my high school. Do you know anyone who could use a gift? And are we going to think of practical, or helpful gifts?
Most of the people I knew have gone home, too. It doesn't have to be people we know, it can be people we don't know, too. That's how you meet new people.

After totally not stalking and asking around to find out where, who has seen him and the likely house, Sakura will find himself a box along side Bakugo's cookies the next day.
Inside an otherwise plain box is something both men worked out the logistics to. Something Shoto thinks is well deserved as a gift for someone who wants to protect people, and has shown time and time again that he's a nice man. Something that will be used for great intentions, he's sure.
His own support gear has been broken for at least a year, and so he's taken parts of the panels off. Bakugo gave him a hand doing it, helping him to pull the parts apart, offering loud support in the form of 'don't be an idiot' and 'you're adding too much and he'll fall face first!!!' even if it confused Shoto greatly how a pair of reinforced gloves would make someone fall face first.
With great time put into it, Sakura is the proud owner of customized gloves with reinforced metal that withstands any heat, any cold and the original intent of the metal was meant to protect Shoto's body during either. If Sakura wants to be a hero, Shoto wants to see him thrive. The red fabric is laced ion small strips much like the way his shoulder pieces were. The base of the gloves are black and the dragon scale-like pieces cascade down the fingers in a way that makes them easy to bend, but defense based, too. No sincerely sharp edges, no spikes, it's meant to protect the wearer and give them that extra leg up.
Underneath the box is a letter. One page is the schematics, they explain the type of metal, what it used to be used for from his costume and his speculation on how hot or cold it really can go. He recommends, however, that a person without a way to warm or cool themselves not try it in extreme if it is on their body. The other is small note in there is denoting when Bakugo and Shoto are going to be having dinner on Christmas that reads in short.]
Dinner is going to be around the same time as it usually is every other day on Christmas. If you have plans that day, we will have it done early so you can take your dinner with you. If you have all day plans, we will keep it for you until the next day. If you don't have plans, you should come in the morning. We're going to do more decorating.
